The Pharmacy Asthma Management program involves our trained pharmacist at Broadway:
- having an initial chat about your asthma medicines, how well you are using them and how effective they are in relation to your asthma action plan
- conducting spirometry or peak flow to assess your lung function
- providing you with a visual indication of your how well your lungs are working
- retraining you on how to use and maintain your inhalers and other asthma devices such as peak flow meters, nebulisers, spacers in the most effective way
- follow up to check that things are going as planned
Cost: $66 including GST
