Ann Touchard BPharm PCCA Certificate of Compounding
Ann joined Fresh Therapeutics in 2003 as a compounding pharmacist at Broadway. In 2005 Jeni offered Ann partnership because she shared her passion for the profession, compounding and her customers. Ann has worked hard to establish Fresh Therapeutics Pharmacy Bondi as a favoured pharmacy for many of her regular customers.
Ann makes every contact count with every customer. She will spend the time it takes to help that person understand how their treatment works and how to get the most out of it. She can identify when something in that person’s lifestyle is amiss and recommends appropriate Practitioner Only ranges to complement prescribed ones, to help optimise their therapy.
Ann always makes time for patients in need. It is not unusual to find Ann visiting one of her special patients after hours simply because they need her to, and because to Ann, life is about meaning, about helping people when you can. There is often a queue at Bondi for people who want to consult with “Ann”.
Compounding is also Ann’s passion. She will work with a formulation and it’s prescriber until the compound is “just right”. Ann has that special ingredient she adds to everything she makes – she calls it love.
Jeni Diekman BPharm DipHospPharm MSc MBA PCCA (USA) Certificate of Compounding
Jeni is passionate about providing the very best pharmacy and compounding services. In 2003 in preparation for opening her first compounding pharmacy in Broadway she undertook specialist training in Compounding at the Professional Compounding Centers of America in Houston, Texas. Through compounding she encourages her professional staff to work with medical practitioners to manage a variety of difficult medical problems including paediatric reflux, pain management, skin problems (both therapeutic and aesthetic) and hormone replacement.
She is also an accredited Home Medicine Review pharmacist. She is determined to lead her pharmacies to provide advanced pharmacy practice. She instils in her staff the motto “make every contact count” – as front line health professionals we can help our customers take more responsibility for their own health to achieve “wellness”, prevent major disease, detect disease early and self manage chronic illness and minor ailments.
Jeni has had a broad career in pharmacy and healthcare. She commenced her career as a hospital pharmacist specialising as an oncology pharmacist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She was co-editor of three editions of “Clinical Guidelines for the Use of Antineoplastic Agents” which was distributed to every Australian hospital.
She was the project pharmacist charged with developing the Pharmaceutical Society’s Self Care Program a leading health information resource available in pharmacies throughout Australia. She has also held management roles in private pathology companies, the Medical Defence Union and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.

Pharmacy Graduates and Compounding Technicians
As a service to the profession each year we train at least two Pharmacy graduates in the art of compounding, providing professional services (including medication management, dispensing, responding to symptoms and wellness management). We are extremely choosy about the competencies of the graduates we select.
Pharmacy Students
We believe the earlier a pharmacists starts their training the better even before they graduate. With this in mind we employ several pharmacy students to assist with their studies and ambition to become great pharmacists.
