Jeni is the visionary behind Fresh Therapeutics Compounding Pharmacy, bringing a lifelong passion for pharmacy and a commitment to innovation in compounding and patient care. In 2003, ahead of opening her first compounding pharmacy in Broadway, Jeni travelled to Houston, Texas to undertake advanced training at the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA)—setting the foundation for what would become a leading name in Australian compounding services.

A leader in modern pharmacy practice

Jeni encourages her team to work closely with medical practitioners to manage a range of complex conditions through compounding—including paediatric reflux, chronic pain, dermatological concerns (both therapeutic and cosmetic), and hormone replacement therapy.

She is also an accredited Home Medicines Review (HMR) pharmacist, committed to helping patients better understand and manage their medications in the comfort of their own homes.

Jeni’s leadership is grounded in her belief that pharmacy is about more than dispensing—it’s about empowering people to take charge of their health. Her philosophy, “make every contact count,” is embedded in every aspect of Fresh Therapeutics Compounding Pharmacy’s culture—encouraging wellness, prevention, early detection, and confident self-management.

A career built on innovation and impact

Jeni’s career spans hospital, community, and corporate healthcare settings. She began as a hospital pharmacist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where she specialised in oncology and co-edited three editions of Clinical Guidelines for the Use of Antineoplastic Agents—a resource distributed to every Australian hospital.

She was also the project pharmacist behind the Pharmaceutical Society’s Self Care Program, one of Australia’s most widely used consumer health information tools.
