At Fresh Therapeutics we provide a supportive environment for people wanting to make a difference to their life affected by opiate addiction.
We are a registered supplier for the opioid substitution treatment (OST) at Fresh Therapeutics Bondi and Fresh Therapeutics Broadway. We can supply Methadone, Biodone as well as Suboxone (buprenorphine, naloxone) and Subutex (buprenorphine) tablets & films.
How to access the service
People who are suitable for pharmacy based OST:
- Have been stabilized on methadone or buprenorphine for at least three months.
- Have regular, reliable contact with their prescribing doctor and case manager
- Have no history of problems in the past six months with alternative dosing locations, including unacceptable behaviour, diversion of methadone doses or deterioration in clinical condition
- Are willing to be dosed at the pharmacy and follow the Pharmacy’s conditions of supply.
To access OST at Fresh Therapeutics ask your prescribing doctor to contact Fresh Therapeutics Broadway (02 92 816 816) or Fresh Therapeutics Bondi (02 9389 3168) to set up OST service for you. There is a probationary period of one month during which we determine your suitability for ongoing dosing at Fresh Therapeutics. We have a limit of 20 OST patients at any one time. Blacktown often reaches this limit so we apologise for any disappointment if we are unable to provide the service.
